Pre-school Football Fun & Learning

By admin, February 17, 2010

Children learn best through play, and what better way to play than in a MiniStrikers pre-school football programme. Designed to teach football skills from age two to six years, our youngsters learn so much more.

Not just ball skills, but social skills such as listening, sharing and communicating. Together with physical coordination and improved self-confidence. All in a fun, pressure-free friendly environment. Parents are welcome to join in the fun too!

MiniStrikers gets kids off to a great all-round start with:

  • Increased self-confidence
  • Improved coordination and balance
  • Better social skills
  • Healthy exercise habits to last a lifetime
  • Did we mention Increased self-confidence? (guess where our priorities are…)

MiniStriker sessions are always about FUN with organised play and educational development at three different Levels.

“My son attends mini-strikers each week, and it’s all he talks about from the moment he leaves for the rest of the week. To say it is a highlight of his week is an understatement! Brilliant fun and well run.” Thanks Dawn

Level 1 (Age 2-3 years) with full parental participation! The emphasis is always on fun and structured play. Learning numeracy and colour recognition as well as developing balance and coordination to score those goals!

Level 2 (Age 3 – 4) Building on the basic ball skills, our budding strikers join in with team play and sharing, increasing their confidence away from their parents.

Level 3 (Age 4 – 6) Moving on to higher level skills our little strikers learn how to read a game situation, first touch, passes dribbling, and of course finishing!

Above Level 3 – our minis move up and develop their skills with Just4Strikers!

All MiniStriker sessions are led by FA qualified coaches, who specialise in the younger players. Our national syllabus and session plans ensure all our students receive the very best in football education. Naturally staff possess First Aid qualifications and are Criminal Records Bureau checked.
